Glass Privacy Levels
Frosted designs and privacy levels
For each of our frosted designs you have the choice between 3 different privacy levels:
1: Semi-Private (design without sandblasting / the rest of the glass door with sandblasting).
2: Non-Private (design with sandblasting / the rest of the glass door without sandblasting).
3: Full-Private (design with sandblasting on front side / backside of the glass on back side).
Please note that for semi-private and non-private doors, sandblasting will be applied to the front of the door. For full privacy doors, sandblasting is applied to the design and the entire back surface. If you would like your design to be applied to the back of the door on any of the privacy options, your order will be considered custom and the custom door policies will apply, which you can read HERE
Transparency of the glass
It's important to be aware that frostings offering complete privacy are not entirely opaque. This implies that objects situated nearer to the glass will appear more prominently through it. Consequently, for areas requiring utmost privacy, such as bathrooms, we suggest applying a comprehensive frosting on both the exterior and interior surfaces of the glass. However, this approach precludes the possibility of adding any decorative designs.
